Flights between Sofia and Amsterdam will be launched as of May 2017 by the Dutch low-cost carrier Transavia, reported the carrier’s website.
There will be flights three times per week. Tickets are already available online and the first Sofia-Amsterdam flight is on May 10, 2017. The price for one direction is currently EUR 29.
The Hungarian carrier Wizzair is carrying out flights between Sofia and Eindhoven.
This is yet another low-cost carrier on the Bulgarian market. As of the beginning of September, Irish Ryanair has been carrying out flights to 21 destinations.
This shows that Bulgaria is getting popular as hub destination in the Balkans and a vital part in connecting Europe with Asia and Middle East.
